Installing Oracle 12c Weblogic Server(Infrastructure)
on Windows 7 64 Bit.
Software used for this Installation.
1. Jdk-8u72-windows-x64.exe
you can also use Jdk-8u71-windows-x64.exe
64 Bit.
2. Oracle
12c pluggable database with AL32UTF8 Character set.
3. Weblogic
Server (Infrastructure)
JAVA
Installation
Step
1. Download JDK from below location
Step
2. Open downlocation and right click and select Run
as administrator.
Step
3. Click Next.
Step
4. Click Change button to change the path from
c:\Program files
Step
5. Path is changed to C:\Java and click Next.
Step
6. Change the path for Java JRE Setup.
Step
7. Click Next to install the Java
Step
8. Java Installation starts.
Step
8. Java Installation completed press close
button.
Step
9. Check Java is installed.
Step
10. Edit entry in hosts file located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
127.0.0.1 localhost
Step
11. Create Temp directory in C:\
Step
12. Change default temp location to C:\Temp in
environment variable.
Step
13. Create new JAVA_HOME System variable.
Step
14. Edit the ‘Path’ Variable in System variable
and add the entry C:\Java\jdk1.8.0_72\bin at the begining.
Weblogic
12c (Infrastructure) Installation.
Download the Weblogic 12c Infracture from oracle website and extract it.
Open the location where you have downloaded and
extracted the weblogic installation file.
In my case I have downloaded and extracted in D:\Oracle12c. This is .jar file and you cannot directly run this
by double click.
Step
15. Open CMD.exe [Run as administrator] and change
directory to D:\Oracle12c and run the installer as D:\Oracle12c\java
–jar fmw_12.2.1.0.0_infrastructure.jar
Step
16. Click
Next on Welcome screen.
Step
17. Skip
Auto Update and click Next.
Step
18. Select
Installation location and press Next Button.
Step
19. Accept
Fusion middleware infrastructure and click Next.
Step
20. Click
Install button to start installing WLS.
Step
21. Installation
progress starts.
Step
22. Progress
completed press Next.
Step
23. Installation
Completed Press Finish Button.
